Star Shelters are make-believe designs for homeless people. Often these works begin from provisional drawings. At the first stage the sketch is made by randomly jabbing pencil marks onto the paper. Lines are drawn from these points to form a weblike structure. These lines are determined by chance. The resulting network looks like a star chart of the celestial heavens. From these lines spatial forms are constructed by connecting the points and lines forming triangles. Then each triangle is divided into intervals and
combined they form alternating prismatic shapes. These optical designs can expand to generating large-scale paintings and sculptures.
